Consumers have the right to cancellation whereby the term consumer refers to any natural person concluding a legal transaction for purposes that are not predominantly based on commercial or professional self-employment activity:

A. Cancellation policy

Right of cancellation
You have the right to cancel this contract within fourteen days without stating reasons.
The cancellation term applies for a period of fourteen days from the time you or a third party who is not the carrier take/s possession of the most recent goods.
You must provide a clear explanation (by mail, fax or email) to us (Stiftung Planetarium Berlin, Prenzlauer Allee 80, 10405 Berlin, Germany, tel.: +49 (30) 42 18 45-99, email: info@planetarium.berlin) if you wish to exercise your right of cancellation with respect to this contract. Although not required, you may use the enclosed sample cancellation form.
For observance of the cancellation term, it is sufficient if the message regarding the exercise of the right of cancellation is sent prior to the lapse of the cancellation term.

Consequences of cancellation
Upon cancellation of this contract, we are obligated to promptly reimburse all payments made by you including delivery costs (with the exception of additional costs resulting from a potential request for a shipping method other than the lowest standard method covered by us), at the latest within fourteen days from the day on which we received the message regarding your cancellation of this contract. The same payment method as during the initial transaction will be used for the reimbursement unless a different agreement has been made. Reimbursement will not result in any charges to you. We may refuse reimbursement until we have received the goods or until you provide proof that the goods have been sent depending on which of these events occurs earlier.
You must promptly return or hand over goods, at the latest within fourteen days from the day on which you informed us of the cancellation of this contract. For observance of the term, goods must be sent prior to the lapse of the term of fourteen days.
You bear the direct costs for the return shipment.
You are only required to cover any potential loss of value in case the loss can be traced back to you and if you handled the goods in a manner that was not necessary for examining the condition, properties and functionality of the goods.

Exclusion or premature expiry of the right of cancellation
According to 312g (2) No. 9 of the Civil Code, the right of cancellation, subject to any other agreements, does not apply to contracts for the provision of services in connection with leisure activities if the contract envisages a specific date or time period for the provision of such services. Thus, the right of cancellation is also excluded for contracts that deal with the sale of tickets for scheduled leisure activities.
